Appreciate the kind words and yes, you are correct. I got myself turned
around. The Erie train in the image is running "from" Ashley to Avoca.

Trackwork in this area was (in its heyday) quite complex, as can be seen in
this Kalmbach drawing of the region.

Also, from the April 1925 Erie Company Map, here's a shot that denotes the
Mineral Springs area (purple oval).
