It could be the east end of the Binghamton Susquehanna River bridge. I have
attached two related photos. The first was taken from the Binghamton
Susquehanna River bridge looking east with a smaller Lackawanna steam engine
approaching, and the second was taken just off the bridge. The small
building on the left corresponds to what is identified on the Taber East
Binghamton map as the pump house and/or well. BY tower is visible in the
distance with an engine approaching.

The bridge construction looks the same as does its angle relative to the
tracks. The 30 or so years separating the shots would explain the difference
in foliage. One difference in the shot of 833 is to my untrained eye there
appears to be more superelevation on the cure than appears present in the
older photos.

Can't be - the curve coming off the west end of that bridge curves to the
left, not the right.

To me it looks like the east end of the Susquehanna River bridge, and the
train is approaching Conklin (East Binghamton)
