I'm going to try and wrap this up tonight. We left off with DN-90 spilling a
few cars at GF. Evidently the derailment occurred just behind the 4th car,
as power will operate thru PO because first four are rush for Ford, maybe
shutdown cars.

TC-2: During Dereco it seemed everything in and out of BX was TC-something.
By September, this train would be re-symboled BC-2. General manifest, BX-CX,
out of BX at 1130, ahead of 90, due PO at 2115, so it's more or less OT.
Blocked at Bison for PO, Maybrook and CX. PO's will be switched, XC will be
fw at 0515 by CB-2, EL connection for the old Chicago-Boston PRR-LHR-NH
hotshot. Is to add cars off PO-98 and HF-98 to its 35 CX, and trade power
with SLCB due PO at 0030. We're seeing the weekend pattern here of
Divisional power, freed up from weekday local assignments, helping to ferry
trains over the NY Div'n and high-HP units handling everything west of PO.

HF-98: long-distance local, seems to originate UK (not HF) around suppertime
and takes over 24 hr to get to PO. He's about 45" behind TC-2 and the last
EB to get thru ahead of 90's wreck.

PO-98: Originates GN, usually thru HF in afternoon or evening with D&H and
PO blocks, s/o DH at Bingo and also p/u NY cars there that have come down
from eastern Canada and northern New England, including lots of newsprint.
Behind DH power tonite (U33C/C628), it gets stuck behind 90 and too early to
decide if it's just going to wait on wreck cleanup or backtrack to JN or QD.
That's four EB's running within 2 hours of ea other on the DD.

NY-100: OT at Bingo at 2200, news of 90's wreck comes just in time to divert
him to SC.

2/NY-100: currently AOS at UK, will also go via SC. At this time there was
no PO stop for the UPS trains, as all E Coast traffic was handled at CX.
Coincidentally, both 100's with 47 cars.

SFE-100/NYCB/TC-4: Like 2/100, still well west of Bingo, routing east of
there depends on cleanup progress at GF.

WB Fleet:

AP-1: Obviously moving power west, was probably well west of SF when the
news hit.

SLCB: Was supposed to swap divisional power with TC-2 at PO; like NY-100 at
Bingo, GF report was just in time to divert the train (2200 departure) to
the DL side, and divisional power will stay with train to SC or QD.

NY-99: Also rerouted, follows CB with monster train of nearly 90 loads, but
13,000 horses still gives 2.5 hpt (new take on "ton-mile"!). Two of the four
engines came in on the SFE-100, and had only 90" to turn.

NY-97: 0315 departure is late enough to make only slight delay at GF a
probability, as scheduled thru there around 0900 and hopefully cleanup crew
will have at least one track open by then. Moreover it has that important
vehicle p/u at Mahwah, and loaded trilevels are clearance-restricted from
the DL side.

CX-99: Again, 0530 CX Dp gives reasonable odds of no delay, although unlike
97, does not protect traffic on the Erie side. As we'll soon see with Agnes,
a factor that comes into play with reroutes is a limited number of qualified
crews, and trains may incur delay waiting on rest periods to expire.

BT job: out of CX, will use those PC U-boats off SFE-100. Has cars for MW,
but from where?? This is one of the "Ordinaries" that feeds NE-97 and TC-1
at PO. Hopefully they will have a NE-74 to lead back to home rails tomorrow.

Finally, both the Road and Divisional power assigned to TC-2 is headed to CX
LWC to protect CX-99 and the Stone train.
