Here's a question: The BN power only seemed to take the "Erie side" in
getting to Croxton. I have 70 photos in my collection of BN power on the EL,
and of the shots in the NY/NJ area, only ONE (the attached photo) shows BN
running on the "DL&W side" at Greendell, NJ - and that's just a caboose! Is
it safe to assume BN power was on the head of this train? If so, was there
an incident on the Erie side on 2-17-73, the date of this image?

Apparently the MILW GP40's that worked beyond Marion to Binghamton, Port
Jervis

So does this mean they could appear on any EL train? Most photos I have show
them on NY-97/NY-98 (with the exception of the aforementioned dead-head back
west on CS-9)

BTW, the MILW pool power started around September of 1973, and contined
right up until C-day.
