I've attached a prototype photo of this class by Al Adamyk. The Intermountain car is pretty close (you can always pop that nice
roofwalk off!), but the big issue with the vast majority of EL 40' boxcars: The revised sidesill. The Meadville shops rebuilt 95% of
EL's 40' boxcars with these revised sills to strengthen the floor for heavy loads. If you're talented with a knife and strip
styrene, this isn't that difficult a modification....
