As Bob Bahrs suggested, I have added the referenced photos to my EMail of 8/7/2015. I welcome all comments and corrections. Regards....
Pat, Today's photos help clear up some of the questions I had about Photos C1396 and C1399. I believe it is now clear that Photo C1396, dated 4 21 1913, shows the Hanover & Newport Branch bridge crossing the Susquehanna River.
C1396

In Photo C1399, dated 4 1913, Mr. Bunnell apppears to be standing atop the new Carey Avenue Bridge looking north. The old bridge is in the background. Compare to Photo C1394, dated 1913, which shows a ground level view of both bridges. Does anyone know what the structure is at the old bridge?.
C1399

C1394

Photo C1407, dated 1913, appears to be a view of the Hanover & Newport Branch bridge similar to C1396. This view was also shown in Photo C2288, dated 10 5 1910 and Photos C2383 and C2384, both dated 12 3 1914.

C2383

C2384

In Photo C1408, dated 1913, it appears Mr. Bunnell just turned to take a view in a more westerly direction.
C1408

Photo C1409, dated 1913, looks west at Parrish Colliery, in a view similar to C1397, dated 4 1913.
C1409

C1397

It appears all of these, Photos C1396- 1409, were made at the same time, on 4 21 1913.
While trying to determine just what these photos show, I went though a number of previously posted photos. In doing so, I believe I can identify the location shown for these, which I had filed as 'site unknown':
C2385, dated 12 3 1914, shows an abutment of the Breslau Bridge in Plymouth, PA, looking north. In the distance is the Carey Avenue Bridge.
C2385

C2866, dated 7 30 1915, shows a view of Taylor, PA similar to that of C1374, dated 4 10 1913.
C2866

C1374

C3141, dated 1 11 1916, shows Oxford Colliery, Scranton, PA.
C3141

Hope this helps.Bill Culverhouse
