See the attached map to see what's happening. The parts bracketed in
blue are losing NJT service. As you can see, Watchung Ave. and Walnut
St. both will retain service. The new connection to the Montclair Branch
is immediately east of Walnut St.

Apparently it's urban legend (or at least the M&E realizes there's
really no freight traffic left there)

Ex-Erie, nee-New York and Greenwood Lake.

According to the track diagrams I have, a little under 9 miles.
