Earlier today I was researching some DL&W info in 1881 newspapers. I came
across this Erie article about speed "radar" they proposed for the Portage
Tower back in 1881! Since Lynn made this posting, I'll add it here. This
clipping is from the October 13, 1881 issue of the Buffalo Morning Express.
