Check out this winter scene at Branchville, NJ during a heavy snowfall. I guess this photo dates from the 1950's, anyone know what DL&W train would rate a H24-66 on the Sussex Branch? It looks as if it has a baggage car head out, you can easily see numerous roof vents on that fist car. But what are the two "white" cars  behind the baggage car? Are there two cars, or is it just an optical illusion? I don't think the tracks curved away that quick at the station so it certainly looks like two additional cars in the train.
This is a great winter scene that includes the Branchville depot and the Sussex Milk and Cream Company building that still stands today (What actually took place inside this building). The two Lackawanna crew members are hard at work in the elements, and appear to be cleaning out the east end of the runaround switch before departure, making sure it will be operational for the next train.

I know it's only September 1st, sorry about the winter blast!

Todd ~
