802 and 803 had the "L" windshield. For clarification, I've attached a photo of 802 that very clearly shows the L-shaped windshield.

This came from the fact that these were former EMD demos, and they wanted to show some of the different options. Must have worked for SP, since they got hundreds of them! :)

I worked with Athearn on their D&H models and made sure they got this detail correct, but technically there is one thing wrong - the former D&H units had the ratcheting handbrake on the fireman's side of the nose, not the brakewheel at the back of the unit. Unfortunately, this is the only style Athearn can do with the Rail Power Products shell.
