Some of you may recall a discussion on the list a couple years ago about the existence of a Lackawanna piggyback trailer surviving in Wayne NJ. It was located in the woods on the eastbound side of Route 46 behind Robbie's Music store. Well sad to say I noticed that the area has been cleaned out recently, the Lackawanna relic is no more :(
Here's a couple a photo's a took a couple years ago. All the lettering was intact till the very end...
Todd-

Oh...As a side note Weird NJ www.weirdnj.com has just published a fantastic 271 page Hardcover book, I imagine it will be available in bookstores across the country. It's a great summary of the 20 issues of the local magazine. You will be happy to know that the Hookerman appears on pages 222 and 223 and the DL&W Paulinskill "Satanic" Viaduct can be found on pages 254 and 255. Both stories include nice color photo's. Two of the Hookerman himself floating down the tracks!!!

Stop by Fort Lee NJ for the Slide Presentation and Discussion--New Issue 21 and book Signing
