Bob and List,

Attached is a scan of my photo. Don't try to adjust the color-it is B&W.
There were several other people there also taking photos that morning but I
though they were on the other side of the river so I moved to the bridge.
After 70 came and went I stuck around to catch 2NY100 which frequently
followed 70. The results accompany the "Derailment on Moodna Viaduct"
article in the latest "Diamond". The others left to chase 70.

The photo of the last run of 70 with E's and Stillwells was quite
serendipitous, as I had no knowledge it. My main thought was capturing
2NY100 in the cut. The only clue I had was noting that when I detrained
form 59 the previous evening there were uniformed EL police (gray uniforms
with maroon trim as I remember) on board. That was the only time I ever saw
one of the special agents in uniform.

The photo of train 70 was published in the early 80's, I believe, in the
Bergen Rockland Chapter NHRS newsletter.
