"GP7_Fulton_St_crossing-Boonton_NJ.jpg" - image/jpeg, 800x530 (24bit)

Cleaning out my office at home, I stumbled upon the attached photo of yours
truly videotaping a former EL U34CH shoving a train east to Hoboken. I was a
senior in high school, and it was a snow day, so my brother and I went to
catch some of the morning rush at the Fulton St. grade crossing at the east
end of Boonton, a fairly short walk from our home. This was January of 1989,
and it was really quite cold. The U34CH almost sounded muffled with the
swirling snow everywhere.

I've attached a comparison shot from my collection of an overloaded train
BC-2 being shoved by a trio of GP7s at the same exact location on March 20,
1976.
