Greetings group;

I came across the attached photo on the Town of York Historical Society
webpage; it may have been brought to my attention here on this list, but I
can't recall or find any reference in the archives.

Note the old Erie and DL&W boxcars on the siding - appropriate list content!

I'm in the midst of producing a kit of this building, and am hoping someone
can help to shed any light on this unique little industry. I am trying to
flesh out the history of Ewart & Lake; I have found some interesting
documents and information using typical Google, etc. searches. But does
anyone know for sure where this was? The photo info on the website says "Old
State Road" and Greigsville; Google Maps shows a railroad crossing there,
and so I'm pretty sure that's where it was. But various searches have also
turned up Tuscarora and Groveland as possible locations.

If anyone has any track diagrams, Val Maps, or Sanborn Maps of this possible
location and would be willing to share them I would be most grateful. Any
information at all would be most appreciated and recognized as well,
especially if it can be put in context with the Lackawanna in Greigsville
and the station there, since I'm not sure where that was, either. And while
we're at it, how is Greigsville pronounced - "GREGsville" or "GREEGsville"?

Grateful thanks;

Jim Harr
