Got two pictures of the early years. The first is the way diesels looked
for a long time with just the EL logo placed over "ERIE" in the diamond.
The second was taken during the summer of 1965. This had to be one of the
first GP7's repainted GMY. I think I could smell the fresh paint. It
looked like a new locomotive. BTW - When the GMY paint scheme was finally
adopted, where were the engines painted?
