Subject: EL switcher in the Virgina woods

Here is a photo by Al Hamilton of former EL SW-1 #354 (nee-DL&W 432), now
working for Virginia Blue Ridge Railway in 1965. It was one of the diesels
that put the nail in the coffin for steam on that line.

Note the switcher still wears its EL black/yellow paint, but with VBR
lettering and a "hacked" VBR diamond logo, suspiciously pattered after the
style of the EL diamond!
