Overly optimistic? :)

Truth be told, even though they had their fair share of derailments, the EL pushed a lot of freight trains through on this side in
the 1970s. Not optimal, but there was a definite "can-do" attitude amongst the EL employees.


Your right of way shots are GREAT! I especially like the shot of Great Notch that shows the wye, still in place. How long after that
photo did it survive? (I think your photo post-dated the end of steam, correct?)
