Joe,

I don't know how far West you are interested in, but of course Marion had a
platform between the EB and WB mains, shared with the NYC. Much less
photographed, and perhaps more of what you seek, was Akron. Similar to
Jamestown's platform arrangement, Akron's station was on an embankment, with
an elevated walkway and stairs down to an enclosed platform between the
mains. I have attached a photo of former DL&W #812 (there you go Lackawanna
Guys) leading an EB past the station on a stormy-looking Spring or Summer
day in 1967. Photo by Rick Brannigan (deceased) formally of Wadsworth,
taken from the platform of the B&O/PRR Union Station. (AUS also had an
enclosed walkway and stairs, and the walkway extended all the way across
both railroads' mains to the Greyhound station on the same street as the EL
station. Quite the modern transportation complex, albeit short-lived.)

Anyone besides me think this would be a good calendar shot (even if it is
West of Hornell)? The slide is much more clear than this low-rez scan.
