Subject: Boonton Line Turnout
"64_EL_OCT_64_Titled.jpg" - image/jpeg, 770x520 (24bit)

This picture was taken in October of 1964. I shot it on a Saturday
morning. I have no idea what train this would be. It has quite a power
combination including a Baldwin. You can see that the original Boonton
Line has been dug out. This happened During the time Wayne Township was
installing sanitary sewers. A trunk line was being built and rather than
tunnel under the unused roadbed, the contractor just dug through it.
