"B.jpg" - image/jpeg, 640x480 (24bit)

Hello,

My friend Doug Relyea, who is building the virtual model of the Shin Hollow bridge, sent me an email in which he asked me about the bridge. I have attached with this email the diagrams that Doug refers to in his email which I have also included. Doug wrote me,

"On the subject of the Shin Hollow Bridge, it now appears there may have been 2 bridges at Shin Hollow. I had thought the bridge I made went at location A on the clipboard01.jpg. On re-examination I believe the model belongs at B. On the Erie RR drawing of the bridge, at the bottom is a site plan. It shows a Y in the road on the RR south side of the tracks. Second, this same plan shows the road and bridge crossed the tracks at a right angle. Both of these are more in line with location B. Lastly, in Google Earth it's seems to me that the road had always crossed the tracks at location A at an angle." Doug suggested that we also use the Bowser Road bridge model, which spans three tracks at Howells, at location A at Shin Hollow.

Does anyone know if there were at one time two bridges at Shin Hollow and the turntable like bridge was at location A as shown in the attached images?

Thank you for your time and help.

Sincerely,
Walter Conklin
