I just got my six-pack two days ago, and am still drooling over these cars.
:)

To address questions that Bradley brought up, I've taken shots of the
Tangent car next to the Athearn car. Apologies for the depth-of-field and
slight blur in some of these:

tangent1 is a broadside comparison, Athearn on top/Tangent on bottom. Note
the Athearn car has the bogus vertical braces between the hopper bays, and
is missing the brake line along the lower side of the car,

tangent2 shows the fidelity of the Tangent car (right) compared to the
Athearn car (left). Check out those ladders, grabs, brake detail, and
wonderful roofwalk!

tangent3 compares the underframes (Athearn on left, Tangent on right)

tangent4 compares the roofwalks (Tangent on top, Athearn on bottom)

Athearn's car was pretty good for its time, and is still not a bad car, but
put it next to the Tangent car and it looks pretty outdated.
