Subject: How I Spent My Summer Vacation - Final Reprise
"salamanca03.jpg" - image/jpeg, 49262 bytes, 861x561 (24bit)

I finally got the last of my pictures scanned in from my summer tour of
the southern tier of NY. These were all taken on the day we left to
head back to Kentucky.

ghost01 - ghost03: These three shots were taken in case the earlier
shots didn't come out due to the sun casting a shadow through the middle
of the mural. As you can see, the picture was painted around the EL
decal on the wall.

hornell01: This shot was taken of the Hornell station. Not a lot going
on with restoration from the looks of it.

salamanca01: This shot is taken from the northwest corner of the
Salamanca station looking to the east.

salamanca02: This shot is taken from the southwest corner of the
Salamanca station. The subject of the next shot can be seen under the
overhang on the left of this shot.

salamanca03: This shot is of the remains of the coaling tower which
stands alone where the yard used to be. Does anybody know why this is
still standing after all of these years?

Well, that's it. Hopefully, I'll get to go back next summer and get
some more pictures.
