Not sure, is there a Stanray roof around anywhere that you can measure?

No clue here.

Yes, these boxes were on all the cars originally (only on one side). They
look similar to the ones that were applied to the later Radio Equipped
Dunmores - I'd guess for scales of economy, the same ones were used.

BTW, not sure if you've seen the attached CAD drawing that George Elwood did
many moons ago based on an original Erie drawing?
