Hello,

I am trying to figure out which actual DL&W engine numbers most closely match the two NPP brass DL&W HO Pacifics that were produced some years ago. During the period I am modeling, 1952-53, it seems as though there were 4 of the 73 inch driver Pacifics still around - Nos.1132, 1133, 1134 and 1135. Does any one know which of the four the brass model represents or is the model generic enough for any of the 4? The model does have the separate snow plow which seemed to feature on the 1134 and 1135 in the 1950s photos. Also, does any one know if the plow was left on year 'round, or did the DL&W take it off in the summer?

The other model is supposed to represent the 79 inch driver Pacific. Again, in 1952/53, it seems as though Nos.1116,1118,(1119 was an oil burner, so that one is out),1120,1125,1130,1137,1139 and 1140 were still in service. Of those 8, any clues about which one the NPP brass model represents or is the model generic enough for any of the 8?

I am getting these painted and lettered (numbered) and any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
