Thanks for the memories, Bob. Steam fan trips, the second Boonton Drill, the 102 bus that I took from and back to Rutherford that day -- those were interesting times!

My dad was the engineer on that train. 2nd Boonton Drill on duty 1:30 Am
off duty 12:31 PM. Sat Aug 2nd was the only day that month the 952 was
the engine on the job. It was a six day a week job at the time. The three
hours and one minute OT that day paid dad $54.43.

I was just awarded a temporary vacancy as the Agent at Hohokus, ( my
summer job ) and thus was off
, and if I remember correctly, took movies of the 759 trip to and from
Scranton.

Old time books can hold a treasure of information!
