"3641_West_at_Great_Notch.jpg" - image/jpeg, 1112x752 (24bit)

These images were taken at Great Notch by a freind of mine, I also used my camera to photograph the train led by the 3641. The first photo shows's two SD-45's (3614 and 3633) on a westbound at the station, the photo of C-312 show's the caboose on an eastbound freight has just cleared the crossover's and reached the station and a westbound is already on the move west behind it! Then you see 3641 and 3670 waiting at Great Notch, there is plenty of swapped out stick rail on the right waiting to be picked up by a work train, another photographer walks down track 2 and you can see some more cars setoff at the small yard in the distance. That's Tommy the EL maintanier walking on the platform. The next image is a broadside view of the same train, Anyone notice that heavy duty depressed center flatcar on the headend, I think it was for Tranformer loads, GE owned. I witnessed a few "High and Wide" transformer loads pass through here. The last photo is the
2557 on what may have been CS-9 with a VERY light train. The engine has cutaway from its train, it could very well be doubling the hill westbound or proceding to Lincoln Park for a shove east.
