OK, I got Ben Barlett's permission to post his photos - thanks, Ben!

21023 is an uncommon variant on EL's standard 2-bay covered hopper livery -
no roadname!

21268 is similar but has very wide spacing between the "EL" and the
roadnumber.

21390 is another rare repaint of an ACF 2970 - note the crammed-in roadname
adjacent to the roadnumber, add how the roadnumber is higher up to
accommodate the capacity information below it, instead of being on the heavy
sill below it like the other 2970s. Also note that it's dedicated to salt
service now.

45501 is another example of "say it's rare, and you'll find more photos" -
Ben found EL Airslide 45501 at New Haven, CT in 1976. Note that it's very
obvious the car is not original to the EL, with the patching out of the
former reporting marks. This was a pretty elusive set of cars, and note that
these were NOT the former Erie cars....
