Subject: Some photos of the Erie / DL&W connection in Paterson 1963
"ELconnectionPat031963b.jpg" - image/pjpeg, 115200 bytes, 1024x768 (24bit)

My father found these while looking through some old photos the other day.
He does not have to many railroad pictures from back then, but did know to
get pictures of the construction of the "new" connection between the Erie
and the DL&W in Paterson. I will follow up with some pictures of the DL&W
station in Paterson, the Erie tracks in Passaic and the Erie's bridge over
the Passaic River. I will send these separately.

The first and second show workers ballasting the new switch in March of
1963.

The third picture from the same day shows a Erie Rs unit waiting to shift
the ballast cars. Note that one of the Erie's (?) odd track cars is located
just under the arm of the tell tails.
