Folks,

I stopped by Drew Chemical in Boonton on the way home from work
this morning and saw the demolition work being performed there. Most of
the brush is now cut away, and the large production building next to the
former DL&W/EL Boonton Line is now being gutted (see attached images).
The "Drew Demolition.jpg" image also shows the office building at the
right, which is being gutted and will come down next. Sad to see
this giant production facility go, as it was one of DL&W and EL's top
ten customers.

On a happier note, I took my G scale EL train set (An FA1
diesel, EL gon, EL boxcar, and EL caboose, along with an NYS&W boxcar)
in to work for our annual Xmas Eve party. The kids had a ball with it!
(see attached image) I hope you and yours have a very happy Holiday
Season!

- Paul
