Subject: THE LAKE CITIES

I am attaching The New York Times article on the demise of THE LAKE CITIES from December 25, 1969. The story was next to a larger one on the SS UNITED STATES being serviced at Newport News. They reporter that the liner might not return to passenger service - it never did.
