Hello All:


The
Cheshire (CT) Historical Society is TENTATIVELY offering a bus tour of
the Meriden, Waterbury & Conn. RIver RR and the Cheshire Street Rwy
trolley line.

Departing CHS at 43 Church Drive, Cheshire [ample parking available] at
9:00 a.m. Sunday, May 15 and returning around 4:p.m.


We will be following the MW&CR (red line) west to Waterbury Union
Station and will trace the Cheshire Street Rwy (orange line) trolley
route back to Cheshire.



Comfortable coach bus [Wi-fi, AC outlets, Air-Conditioning, Rest Room].


Narration by yours truly; as many as six photo stops, some at sites
never visited/seen before! Cool culverts, bridge piers and abutments,
assorted ruins!!


Price for bus ~$30 per person, including driver gratuity and 70+-page
tour book; lunch arrangements/stop (optional) to be determined at ~$10.


Seating limited to ~50 on the one bus.


Money will be needed by May 1, first-come, first-served.


We need to have a quick show of hands as to interest and will update you
over the weekend as to final price, lunch, etc..
