Subject: Hopewell Depot Restoration 6-4-2011

Saturday was another good work day at the Depot. With the help of six
volunteers we managed to complete the freeze board and trim on south gable end,
replaced burned siding next to bay window area, sealed all knots on pine
fascia and other trim, worked on sizing and painting of 3 window sills,
finished repairing beam at north end of building. Electric wiring for lights,
switches and outlets has been started.
Threes volunteers did a great job handing out information and selling
items to help raise needed funding. Thanks to Bernie, Celeste and Jacky.
This Wednesday we will be working on re-installing the arched brackets,
priming the south gable soffit, taking down metal staging, start working on
the south end wall ( remove door, frame for window, install siding and
battens where needed.
