  I do recall arriving at Great Notch one afternoon and seeing the string of brand new AT&SF boxcars that were setout in the yard, I have a photo or two of them also. As I recall they didn't stay there long. I'm trying to recall if the Totowa Roustabout picked them up?

That certainly makes a lot of sense. And a great story
about the P&S car inspections. DPM once wrote that
his wife spotted two MILW boxcars in a local yard,
both with the same road number. :>)

Gordon any thoughts on the ATSF box cars that were
moved via Great Notch? That's got me stumped yet I'm
sure there was probably a logical reason for it.
