Now we can get to another point of confusion -- pronunciation.
Did they follow the example of Worcester, MA (pronounced "Wooster") and call Leicester "Lester?"

All,
My D.L.&W. "List of Officers, Agents, Stations, Equipment, Facilities..." from April 1, 1911 shows:
Lestershire at MP 208.54 on the Buffalo Division, where Johnson City is today, and
Leicester at MP 349.98 on the Buffalo Division, about 3 miles west of Mt. Morris.
The same documentation shows "Wilseyville" on the Ithaca Branch; later documentation shows: "Willseyville".
