 Here is a photo of an El Capitan car at the CNJ terminal in Jersey City.

This car, I understand, was manufactured at the Budd Company "Red

Lion" plant which was located east of Philmont, PA on the Reading RR

New York Branch. Assuming overhead clearances were adequate, this

car could then have routed via the National Docks Branch to Weehawken

for interchange with the EL and then moved to Chicago (Dearborn Station)
for interchange with the Santa Fe.
