RE: (erielack) Suburban Fares Then and Now
I am surprised, with the existence of Google, that none of you have actually
figured out what the inflation factor would mean to tommy's prices. It's
like this:
1963:
$1.45 in '63 is $10.45 in 2010, based on Consumer Price Index. Right on the
mark.
$30.75 is $216.58.
2003:
$6.90 is $8.16
$193.00 is $228.16
Today:
$10.25
And
$291.00
It would appear that in 2003, you were ahead of the game, but now for the
short single ticket, you're OK, but that monthly's killing you . . .
