-From my viewpoint out here in nowhere (ie., way upstate NY), I think they're
wasting their money.  For a transit service to be sucessful, it must be
convenient.   In simple words, that means you get on the train at Penn
Station (or other appropriate central location) and get off the  train at
the airport and, preferably, at same concourse you would arrive at if you
took a limo or a cab in your limo.

This means a lot of new infrastructure, unfortunately.  However, I think
this bandaid approach is doomed to failure with all the transfers.
