423, being one of the first two units rehabbed by the LAL was painted
before this year.  It and 424 were painted the same spring ('99 if I
remember right) and have been in service since late '97.  423 was the 454
and 424 was the 450 when they arrived on the property.  Work on the two
units that were sitting at the end of track in lakeville was just started
this spring.

An interesting spotting feature on 423.  It has EMD/GE style hood door
latches.  It also has an anticlimber on the front.  These were not applied
during the rebuild in Hornell, but later in the Guilford stint.
