RE: (erielack) Terminal / shared ownership RR's (e.g. Buffalo Creek, South Buffalo) (slightly off topic)
Chris....
I would suppose it is a fan of the BCK who had that put on his own private
vehicle...I have friends who currently work for CSX who were "Crick
Pricks" (their own name for themselves) BCK ceased to exist on 4/1/76.
Its assets were assumed by CR and it disappeared. Was this the "Flour
Bag" logo by any chance. I dont know what it's current corporate status
is. I just did a search of the NYS Department of State Database and it
came up with the following....
Selected Entity Name:
THE BUFFALO CREEK RAILROAD COMPANY
Current Entity Name:
THE BUFFALO CREEK RAILROAD COMPANY
Initial DOS Filing Date: 01/25/1869
County: ERIE
Jurisdiction:
Entity Type: DOMESTIC BUSINESS CORPORATION
Current Entity Status: INACTIVE
