Another example of there's a prototype for everything. Hard to believe this
as the EL was not by any stretch of the imagination the most well-healed RR
of its time.
Which axle (of the six) do you think recorded the highest speed (Yuk, Yuk)??
Does anyone know why 3317 is outfitted this way?
Given GE's reputation for XR (i.e. extra reliability) at the time, probably
all three were needed to keep the U-boat going.

Also note the PC SD #6207 coupled to SDP 45 #3635 at Kent, OH during 11/72.
What arrangement was this due to? Run through power? Running off miles?
Etc. Anyone know?
