Listers,

A few weeks ago I was visiting my grandmother (she's 94), and she told me
that she had something of my father's that she wanted to give me. Was I
delighted!!! What she had was a 300 piece "Erie" jigsaw puzzle, from the
early 1950's. The puzzle is complete and in its original box. It was
manufactured by "Jaymar" 200 Fifth Ave., NY. The title of the picture is
"Erie Diesel Freight" (color painting courtesy of American Locomotive) and
shows a quartet of FA-1's in A-B-B-A configuration, hauling a long reefer
train past a large, brick industrial building. I would assume that the units
are  new, and what we are seeing is some "west end" action, since the FA's
rarely came east until E-L. The puzzle is in great condition, and represents
just one more piece of memorabilia, dedicated to one of our favorite roads.
