All:

Someone said runs of "unique" equipment are not profitable for
injection-mold plastic manufacturers.  No argument here.  However, just how
unique were EL cabooses?

I can think of several schemes for the Dunmores right now:

Erie red
EL red
EL GMY
Conrail blue
Conrail MOW gray
Wellsville, Addison & Galeton cream and orange

For the bay windows:

same reds, GMY and blues as above, plus:
D&H red

Can anyone think of others?  Maybe these hacks got around more than we
think.  It's not Santa Fe, UP, PRR, or NYC, (for the manufacturer's
benefit)but it would be interesting to see how they got around.
