At around 11:30am on Thursday, May 24th. The LONG delayed removal of the
Chemung Valley RHS's Erie equipment and the Southern E8 from the station

property in Binghamton finally happened. Norfolk Southern crews
installed a temporary connection on Wednesday and pulled the entire
consist out on Thursday. Guilford/Maine Central GP40(?) #380 did the
honors of taking the locomotive and cars eastbound. The equipment is now
parked at the NYS&W shops in Binghamton. Next up will be some mechanical
work to the cars and locomotive before they are shipped to their new
homes in the coming weeks.
