Now let's turn to this question- where did Lackawanna come from?  I'm sure 
it's a northeastern American Indian word, but that's about where what I know 
ends.  I now of the Lackawanna coal mine near Scranton, and Lackawanna Rd. in 
Stanhope, NJ (both in DL&W territory)
