My wife and I were driving home coming through Morris Plains, NJ on Saturday around 6 PM, when I spotted racing past the station at track speed an NJT GP40-something-or-other. Then behind it, a new ALP46 (#4601, to be specific), and an older ALP44 (number unseen). The new electrics do look nice in person, and even have a "soft side" to them. Juxtaposed with the DL&W station there, it looked "right."
Glad to see a friendlier look along the Route of the Phoebe Snow!
