As far as I know, both of them. They came over from the LIRR in 1979 when
that road discontinued its steam heated parlor car trains.

Metro North #1 was LIRR's Aquebogue, originally DLW 789. MN #2 was LIRR
Asharoken, originally DLW 790.

Both cars were acquired by the LIRR in July 1970. Photos can be seen at:
