I'm fairly certain that CR must have obtained the rights to the name and logo - remember, there's still equipment rolling around with EL reporting marks and the EL roadname. And I'm not sure if CR would NOT want any connection with EL. Logos and names can be valuable market commodities, and it would be in CR's best interest to maintain rights to those historic names...
