Re: (erielack) One more 70's scan



This is TV-98, the CR version of first NY-100. I once saw WB counterpart
TV-77 (I think that was the symbol) at Hornell with 80 cars and four units.
EL rarely operated a pig train that long, especially on the east end.

 

Jim, you're so right about operational variability on EL. From Bob
Malinowski's article in the V6#2 Diamond: on 12/6/75 (a Saturday), the DW
(Middletown) Turn arrived CX with 43 empty parts cars it had picked up at
Mahwah. Those cars were later run out the other end as TC-1.
